Shambala Estate is a haven for native wildlife and invited guests alike!
When you visit you will see some of the beautiful wildlife at Shambala Estate. Our dancing Bowerbird has setup his lady lair right near the gate, conveniently positioned next to the bush turkey mound – keep an eye out for them as you drive in!
Further into the property you will be greeted by seven peacocks who call the Shambala Estate home. A home they share with King Parrots, Crimson Rosella’s, Lorikeets, White and Black Cockatoos to name but a few. If you listen carefully, you may even hear the elusive Lyre bird call. If you cast your eyes skyward, you may even spot one of many Koalas who call Tamborine Mountain their home.
The ponds, streams and fountains are sanctuary to frogs of many types, tadpoles, water dragons, skinks and golden koi.
Dragonflies, butterflies and bees flitter across the grounds and remind us of the diversity and beauty within the grounds of Shambala Estate.
