Your wedding reception on Tamborine Mountain can end with a moment that feels entirely yours. Dancing Beneath the Stars is Shambala Estate’s signature Galaxy Ballroom experience in the Gold Coast Hinterland, with an illuminated dance floor and an LED star-lit ceiling.
The music begins. You step onto the LED dance floor together. Beneath your feet, the floor glows; above you, the LED star-lit ceiling brings the night sky into the Ballroom.
For a moment, everyone else watches. Then the celebration opens up, your favourite people join you, and the room becomes yours.

Your first dance, surrounded by light
The Galaxy Ballroom’s illuminated dance floor and star-lit ceiling create a distinctive setting for your first dance and the celebration that follows.
The effect surrounds the moment. Your photographs capture both the people and the atmosphere: the two of you dancing together, the faces around the floor, and the light that makes this space recognisably Shambala.
From your first dance to a full dance floor
Your first dance might be quiet and intimate, joyful and playful, or something you have rehearsed for months. However you choose to begin, the Ballroom gives it a sense of occasion.
Later, the same setting becomes a place for shared celebration. Friends gather, generations dance together, and the evening finds its own rhythm. The stars remain overhead as the room fills with movement, laughter and familiar songs.
