Chapel Vows on Tamborine Mountain
A grand, unhurried entrance at Shambala Estate
A wedding chapel holds more than the vows: the anticipation before you enter, the faces turned towards you and the first moment you stand together. Chapel Vows is Shambala’s signature ceremony experience in a sheltered, non-denominational setting on Tamborine Mountain.
Guests are gathering. Your wedding party is ready. Inside, the people you love are waiting to see you arrive.
At Shambala Estate, the Chapel and its generous covered portico give those moments space to unfold—with shelter, comfort and a beautiful setting for your entrance.

A substantial Chapel, with room for your celebration
Set within our Tamborine Mountain estate in the Gold Coast Hinterland, the Chapel offers a generous non-denominational setting, with timber pews, soft ceiling draping and a chandelier above the ceremony.
Its generous interior creates a sense of occasion while welcoming a ceremony that reflects your own beliefs, relationships and story. Air-conditioning adds comfort, and the sheltered setting helps you plan your ceremony with confidence.

The portico makes the arrival part of the experience
The covered portico is an integral part of what makes Chapel Vows special.
Guests have somewhere welcoming to gather before the ceremony, sheltered from rain and strong sun. Your wedding party has space to prepare, pause and enjoy the anticipation before entering.
There is time to straighten a dress, share a smile and take a breath. Then you can make a grand, unhurried entrance, with the moment given the attention it deserves.

Shelter that belongs in the photographs
Practical comfort can be beautiful too.
The portico provides a covered setting for arrival and entrance photographs, reducing the need for umbrellas in those moments. Its architecture becomes part of the backdrop, allowing your photographer to capture the people, expressions and details without a cluster of umbrellas around you.
Everyone together on the tiered steps
The Chapel’s three-tiered steps provide a wonderful setting for a whole-group photograph.
The different levels help bring faces into view, with the Chapel behind you and your guests gathered around. It is a chance to capture everyone who came to celebrate—a photograph you can return to long after the day itself.

Champagne, conversation and a warm welcome
The portico can also become part of your wedding hospitality, with drinks and service arrangements confirmed in your chosen package.
You might welcome guests with a glass of champagne on arrival, allowing them to settle in and enjoy the anticipation. After the ceremony, it is a popular setting for pre-dinner drinks: somewhere to congratulate the newlyweds, reconnect with friends and let the celebration unfold.
The same space carries you from arrival to entrance, from vows to photographs, and from ceremony to conversation.
A ceremony connected to the rest of your day
From the Chapel, your celebration can continue through Shambala Estate—into drinks, photographs and your reception.
Our five wedding coordinators work together to help shape that journey, so the ceremony feels beautifully connected to everything that follows.
