Shambala Estate is located at 104 Beacon Road, Tamborine Mountain QLD 4272, in the Scenic Rim. We are approximately one hour from Brisbane Airport and Gold Coast Airport, making it easy for local, interstate and international guests to join you.

Yes. When you celebrate your wedding at Shambala Estate, the Estate is exclusively yours for the day.
This allows your ceremony, photographs and reception to unfold privately across our gardens and wedding spaces, without other weddings taking place around you. Your precise access times and included spaces will depend on your selected wedding package.

Yes. You will be supported throughout your journey by our experienced team of Wedding Coordinators.
Rather than relying on one individual, our coordinators work together on the details of your celebration. This provides continuity, collective experience and a familiar team who understand your plans.
Before your wedding, we will help you clarify the details, coordinate with your suppliers and prepare the running plan. On the day, our team will manage the timing, transitions and practical details behind the scenes so you can be fully present for your celebration.

Shambala Estate offers a range of all-inclusive wedding packages designed for different celebration styles, guest numbers, days and priorities. Depending on the package, inclusions may include ceremony and reception spaces, catering, beverages, foundational styling, furniture, tableware, entertainment, wedding co-ordination and on-site accommodation.

Securing your wedding date requires a signed Wedding Services Agreement and a deposit of $3,000.

Absolutely! Shambala Estate is an all-in-one wedding venue, allowing you to host your ceremony, reception and accommodation all in one beautiful location. With four ceremony spaces, two reception spaces and on-site accommodation, your celebration can unfold seamlessly in one place.

We recommend booking as soon as you have found the right venue and are ready to secure your preferred date.
Popular Saturdays and peak-season dates can book well in advance, while Fridays, Sundays and some midweek dates may offer greater availability. We may also be able to accommodate weddings with a shorter planning period.

Yes. Shambala Estate welcomes celebrations of many different sizes, from meaningful ceremonies and intimate gatherings to larger Estate weddings.

Yes. We can hold your preferred wedding date without obligation for up to seven days, giving you time to consider your decision.
Signing of your Wedding Services Agreement and payment of the initial $3,000 deposit then makes that date yours.

Your wedding date is secured once your Wedding Services Agreement has been signed and the initial $3,000 deposit has been received.
Payments are then made progressively towards the remaining balance. Your agreement will clearly set out each payment amount and due date so you can plan with confidence.

Maximum guest numbers depend on the reception space, seating format and package selected. The Galaxy Ballroom accommodates up to 150 seated guests, The Waterfall Pavilion accommodates up to 60 seated guests. Please speak with our team about your proposed guest numbers and layout.
Catering and Styling

Shambala Estate works with our trusted catering partner, In Season Catering, to provide thoughtfully prepared menus for weddings at the estate. Their team offers a range of dining options and can accommodate many dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free needs.

Yes. Depending on your selected wedding package, you may be able to upgrade your beverage package with premium beverages or personalised touches such as signature cocktails or a champagne tower. Our team can confirm the options available for your package.

No. As a licensed Tamborine Mountain wedding venue, Shambala Estate does not permit couples or guests to bring their own alcohol.
Beverage packages are available, with options to upgrade your drinks selection or add special touches such as signature cocktails.

Foundational ceremony and reception styling is included in selected wedding packages and may feature ceremony chairs, reception furniture, linen, tableware and carefully selected styling pieces.
You're welcome to personalise your wedding with additional décor that reflects your style and vision. Our coordinators will happily explain what is included within your package and any items that may need to be supplied or hired separately.

Yes. Couples are welcome to engage approved wedding professionals, including photographers, celebrants, florists, stylists, musicians, DJs and other entertainment providers.
To ensure your day runs seamlessly, all vendor access, styling, setup and pack-down arrangements must be coordinated with the Shambala Estate team in advance.
Please note that confetti, rice, glitter and sparklers are not permitted.

Shambala Estate Cottages comprises four private cottages, providing romantic on-site accommodation within the peaceful gardens of our Tamborine Mountain estate.

Yes. On-site guest parking and accessible parking are available at Shambala Estate, together with designated guest drop-off areas.
The Estate is located at 104 Beacon Road, Tamborine Mountain, approximately one hour from both Brisbane Airport and Gold Coast Airport.
We have a 13-seat minibus that may be used to transport guests to and from off-site accommodation, subject to availability and prior arrangement. We also have arrangements with local bus companies should additional transport support be required for larger groups.
Please discuss your guest transport needs with our team so suitable arrangements can be planned in advance.

Wedding commencement times vary according to the package, day and celebration format you select. Regardless of the starting time, all weddings at Shambala Estate conclude by 10.00 pm.
Our team will help you create a comfortable schedule that allows your ceremony, photographs, reception, dining and celebrations to flow naturally.

A ceremony rehearsal may be arranged by appointment, subject to the Estate’s wedding and event schedule.
Our Wedding Coordinators can help you determine whether a rehearsal would be beneficial and confirm an appropriate time. Even when a formal rehearsal is not required, our team will work through the ceremony details with you and guide the wedding party on the day.
