Location & setting

104 Beacon Road, Tamborine Mountain QLD 4272, in the Gold Coast Hinterland. The Estate is set across five acres of gardens and rainforest and is approximately one hour from both Brisbane Airport and Gold Coast Airport.

Mountain climate

Tamborine Mountain is typically a few degrees cooler in summer than Brisbane or the Gold Coast below—a welcome advantage for outdoor celebrations and wedding parties wearing formal suits, layered gowns or full wedding-day makeup.

Ceremony & reception spaces

Choose from four ceremony locations and two reception spaces: the Galaxy Ballroom and Waterfall Pavilion.

Guest numbers

Weddings can accommodate up to 150 guests.

Wet-weather alternatives

Beautiful indoor alternatives provide reassurance and allow your celebration to continue comfortably if the weather changes.

On-site accommodation

Four private cottages are located on the Estate, with spa baths, wood fireplaces and balconies.

Inclusive wedding experiences

Our inclusive wedding packages bring together the venue, ceremony and reception arrangements, food, beverages and experienced coordination, with inclusions varying by package.

Private use of the Estate

Shambala Estate is exclusively yours for your wedding, allowing you and your guests to celebrate together in a private and unhurried setting.

Ceremony-only & micro-weddings

Ceremony-only celebrations start from $3,200 for up to 60 guests, including a bar tab. Micro-weddings start from $5,500 for up to 10 guests, including food platters, drinks and one night’s accommodation. 2026 pricing; availability and conditions apply.

Estate weddings

Estate Weddings start from $14,700 for 30 guests, including the ceremony, pre-reception gathering, reception, catering and beverages. 2026 pricing; selected dates and conditions apply.

Wedding timing

Wedding start times vary by package and celebration format. Regardless of start time, all weddings at Shambala Estate conclude by 10.00 pm.
